Joanna Stone holds a BA in dance and theater from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in dance from Texas Woman's University.  She is fitness instructor certified through AFAA, completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Forrest yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher. In 2017, Joanna founded and created, Barre Vidaยฎ, a barre fitness method and a barre instructor certification course. Currently Joanna teaches and trains Barre Vida in New York City locations. As well she teaches corporate boot camp classes and yoga.  Joanna was drawn to private training and smaller classes so she could adapt each workout to individual fitness goals and body type. Joanna's goal is for her students to get the most benefit from the workout and prevent injury. She focuses on proper exercise technique. 

Her classes and private training involve strength training, cardio, body sculpting, and challenging abdominal exercises. Expect to be pushed and motivated in a fun and upbeat environment with a great playlist! Joanna's favorite feedback from a client was: "when I first met you I thought, 'she is too nice to be hard.' You proved me wrong."
