Joanna Stone is one of the most popular Barre Fitness Instructors, she has presented at the Barre Summit and at SCW Mania Atlanta. She also teaches HIIT, bootcamp, yoga,Pilates, and is a private trainer.   She is fitness instructor certified through AFAA, completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Forrest yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher. In 2017, Joanna founded and created, Barre Vida®, a barre fitness method and a barre instructor certification course. Currently Joanna teaches and trains Barre Vida in-person and online, and leads the Barre Vida Master Instructor Trainings all around the country. She leads national workshops that focus on barre, movement, and meditation.   Joanna's goal is for her students to get the most benefit from the workout and prevent injury. She focuses on proper exercise technique.

I build workout programs suitable to your individual needs. I believe in a holistic approach to training in which I take into account your diet, daily routines, job, and other important factors to overall health.  

 We can workout in your house, office, at a gym, outside, in the hallway, or another chosen space. I can make it work and make it fun! With a background in fitness, barre, yoga, HIIT, Tabata, and dance, I've got lots to pull from to build workouts. I specialize in fat burning and toning to lengthen muscles. Safety and proper form are fundamental to my training method. I want you to understand the proper alignment and execution of each exercise so even when I'm not present your personal workouts are effective.

I have been working with many of my clients for more than five years. The best part of being a personal trainer is establishing relationships with my clients. I want everyone to feel comfortable setting goals with me, trying new things, and voicing opinions.  We are always changing up the workouts to make sure the body does not plateau and to keep learning! I became a personal trainer because I spent years studying the body and I find it rewarding to share my knowledge with others.  I look forward to working with my clients every day because I get to help them achieve!

Workplace Wellness is a growing trend in offices as Workplace Wellness becomes more popular and advantageous for companies nationwide. Bringing fitness to every office setting is one of my goals to support healthier and happier workplaces. I teach Fitness, Barre and Pilates for New York Offices and I made a library of personalized workout videos for offices to share with employees.

I enjoy teaching corporate classes because I get to work with the employees on a weekly basis to construct the type of fitness class they desire.   My favorite part is getting to know the employees and helping them establish healthy workday habits.
